Head Trainer/ Owner

Training your pet is not about tough love or who is top dog, it is about clear communication. As a fully certified Dog Trainer based in Greenville, SC and have been training animals since 2008. In 2008, my mom was attacked by a dog that she owned that left her with a tooth embedded in her radius and requiring two surgeries and physical therapy for over a year. During that time my mom enrolled herself in triple crown dog training academy to figure out what she had done wrong and make sure that she never made that mistake again. Eventually she started to train dogs for other people and would take me to help her. I eventually started training on my own. I attended seminars with some of the best dog trainers in the world and spent my summers working in kennels and observing the trainers. I dabbled in agility with my dogs, Rave and Jada,  and competed  them in obedience and agility. In 2011, I brought home a Belgian Malinois whom I named, Hemus. My parents allowed it under the condition that I would be the one to care for him, train him, and attend to all his needs. I started to train him in obedience as soon as he came home. Within his first year, he was showing off some doing tricks and catching frisbees. Together we acquired his CGC title and later on a Schutzhund BH. I continued to train him in frisbee and competed him throughout the country in several different competitions. At the age on thirteen, Hemus and I had qualified for the Skyhoundz Disc Dog World Championship. We continued to compete throughout the years and qualified once more for the world team.I also put on shows for The Florida State Fair for 4 years, along with shows for schools and other major events. I continued to training dogs with my mother and focused mostly on training and rehabilitating un-wanted rescue dogs that needed a job. In 2014, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that affects my spine. I soon realized that my condition was going to affect me tremendously and flare ups would limit my mobility, so I started to train Hemus to perform tasks for me. He learned to bring my shoes, pick up objects I would drop, and pull me up when I couldn't do it on my own. Hemus is now retired, but not before he and I graduated  with a Bachelors in Psychology from Appalachian Sate University. After being able to do my internship with a world renowned dog trainer in Florida, I realized that dog training is what I wanted to do for the rest of my career and I've been fortunate enough to learn from the very best. Over the years I have developed a method of training dogs that is balanced and effective.  So put that dog whistle down, and give me a call today.
